I visited the Toronto Pier with my friend San and Ruby, a dog I was dog-sitting at the time, during sunrise to capture the breathtaking golden hour lighting. This time of day creates a warm, soft glow that enhances the natural beauty of the scene. The rich colours, long shadows, and dynamic contrasts make it ideal for creating visually striking and atmospheric photographs. The peaceful ambiance of the early morning also allowed for unobstructed compositions, emphasizing the serenity and vastness of the waterfront.
